| Will poke you in the eye in a minute Mark Not a bean here. I have just been out again and same as before, just a wet mess. Far too much low cloud all day and not enough heating been happening, well thats what i think anyway, its only 15C here now. Loads of heavy showers UK wide with a few giving some Thunder is about it. Guess the forecasts were right but im just glad i didnt travel too far because it really wouldnt have been worth the effort Really fed up | |

| Ive had it for today now, cant be bothered to look anymore, wasted all of today as it is. And if you look at the Lightning Trackers for today there is barely anything at all South of the M4 corridor, except over the channel of course. Dunno why i bother.
But at least youve seen summat Mark and i wouldnt say JP needs to give up yet either. Not sure how anyone else is getting on ?
Im used to this anyway.

| Well I am just at the train station collecting my dad and I can see a huge storm cell passing about ten miles to my east. How gutted am I. It's bright here now. But watching the cloud movement this new cell isn't going to get close to me at all. I am looking at it over open felds pretty much and it looks a good un. Gutted! | |

The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice regarding traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads. | Reports on netweather suggesting the kent cell was possibly a supercell, and the one in the channel following a rather similar path!

| Nice pics Mark!! As you say, not a total loss. It's really tipping it down here now. The weather station is currently showing 36mm of rain and counting. My previous daily record is 46.3mm. If the rain heading our way on the radar continues to arrive, that record could fall tonight, in the next 3 hours. At the very least, we'll get pretty close I reckon. | |

| Certainly a lot of wetness up your way Graham indeed.
Nice pics Mark too. Couldn't get any today due to work reasons.
Talk of this Supercell clipping Kent, not sure myself. NetW forum have posted a video from somewhere of a gust front calling it a supercell but I'm not convinced.
I had a brief cell pass over this evening and it produced a couple of IC flashes but that was it. Heavy rain associated with it too.
I'm also fed up with these small time showers, need something a bit more exciting to follow now.
