| Ok, having one or two probs with my cameras connection to my PC at the moment so the video from last week may be a day or so. But it will be here! (Hopefully)

| Don't ya just love technology Wazza! Great when it works, but when it doesn't ! Hey looks like we might get a bit more wind early next week as another LP heads down towards the North West corner of Scotland (this is using Netweather.tv's swanky new "gust" chart that they added in the wake of the last two biggies we had: | |

| Nicely spotted there mate. That SW corner and W Scotland looks good. I'm liking the new Gust chart. Kinda accurate given the last two storms. We're due some foggy stuff to start this week, tonight and tomorrow, thick fog. I like fog! | |

| Just checked the 12Z run (and those great new gust charts) and things still looking like a wet and windy time for parts of the UK, as that front pushes through on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Of course lately the weather has managed to sycronise perfectly with when I'm stuck at work I'm starting to think it's a conspiracy! Nothing like a bit of dense fog to start the working week! Always makes driving to work fun. | |

| Deffo G. Does look like another wet and windy one coming for northern areas. This fog... not turned up! Supposed to be pea soup outside at the mo according to forecasts but it's clear as a whistle with Frost! Had to scrape the car leaving the mother in laws at 23:00! | |

| Wet and windy for western areas - probably even far north east Scotland too.
Good agreement for overall colder conditions towards the end of next week E/Ne'ly wind setting in. May be able to draw in some snow showers. Dont really see this la nina winter being anything super amazing to write home about though. Early synoptical winter charts looking good none the less.
Gut feeling is come January it'll be cold but dry

| Just split post into a new week - slacking here! Yeah deffo looking a tad windy on the coasts. Thick fog in areas to start too - it is here anyway! There is as you say some snow showers forecast for the north. Graham could get a bit of the white stuff if they push West! | |

| Yeah this latest system isn't looking as promising as last Thursday's as far as the potency goes. I see some of the Fife coast (Crail especially) is forecast for some gusts to 50+MPH tomorrow but other than that, nothing too special. There's certainly talk of snow on the hills and given that we live on one (and the Fifeweather.co.uk weathercam overlooks another one opposite us), it's definitely worth keeping an eye on over the coming days. You never know, we might just get our first glimpses of the white stuff for the season. | |

| Yes deffo. Nothing down here apart from pea soup fog that has now cleared.
Opened up another thread about the floods in Cornwall though, pretty bad in areas.

| Starting to look like Winter is really on it's way. Colder NE wind direction next week with colder daytime temps. This could lead to some Wintery showers in parts, mainly up north. Brrrrrrrr! | |

| Sure is looking cold up here next week! Just a few degrees above zero for early next week. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw a little bit of sleety snow, although I doubt it will really accumulate if anything does fall. The heating bill is bad enough already. Guess it makes a change from the wind and rain. LOL! | |

Gonna be a murky foggy ol month too I reckon with this La Nina effect if it kicks in. I have an assessment on the rails tomorrow morning over a short mile long diversionary route that I have been training on this week... and the forecast? FOG!!!! Cheers again!

| http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/sw/sw_forecast_warnings.html More heavy rain forecast for later today and overnight for parts of the SW so Cornwall in the firing line again with this one. Totals forecast similar to earlier this week so will keep a watch on this one. As yet Somerset ( here ) is showing as clear, hmm i wonder ? And maybe a rumble or two in amongst this ? Oh and as mentioned temps are gonna drop next week with the first real risk of snow for many areas of the UK. Looking Weds/Thurs beyond with daytime temps struggling to 4-5C at best and lower for many. East facing coasts and the far North most likely but snow/sleet not ruled out anywhere even to lower levels....one to watch ! Brrrrrrrr...... | |

Cheers again! Hope the assessment went OK Wazza and the fog didn't add too much stress to the situation?? Wow, can't believe how cold it's going to get next week, and how far down the 528DAM line is extending. Sure is going to be chilly!! Ju, looks pretty soggy down your way with those warnings. Hope you manage to keep dry!! Got all the parts in now to replace the rear discs, handbrake shoes and disc pads on the mobile weather lab, but I need some decent weather to fit them all. What do you reckon my chances are!

| Hmmm... Chilly! If I have to do stuff like that in the cold I use a fan heater I have and just aim it on me. Keeps that exact spot warm even though it's outside... I daren't touch anything on my Accord... I used to do little bits on my older cars but there are so many nuts and bolts under this thing! I am going to attempt to do the brakes on my caravan soon, drums on that. I can see myself taking the drum off and springs etc flying off into the wilderness! That Dam line does push right south towards us. Winter is coming! Deffo gonna have to change my work coat over to the winter one! Ju may yet see another "Boowazz" picture at some point | |
