| Photographer and chaser William Phuoc compiled this very cool video of lightning off the coast of Darwin...very spectacular.
The cause was most likely a set of multicell storms moving towards the NE. By the looks of the lightning it's only about 20km off shore or so.

| Yeah William gets around - he's not a storm chaser per se - he just makes use of the time he has to photograph the things, but as you know he's got some gear and takes him a bloody hour to set it all up sometimes!
That set of storms was one that i viewed from work - again...Grrr | |
