Awesome video Graham, love seeing these mate so keep posting.
Thanks Wazza, will do! I had a peek at the rain radar/lightening detector just before heading to bed last night and it looked like there was a good bit of activity happening over southern England. You guys have done better than us so far this season! Very Happy

Ooh flooding, not good. It has been raining all night after that small storm. Very wet indeed.

EDIT: Roads in south Buckinghamshire flooded. Reports of the A41 near Hemel Hempstead was closed this morning due to flooding.

Thanks for the comments on the time-lapse video Ups, JP and Pulse! You've spotted a few anvils in there that I didn't initially but thanks to your comments, I have now! Very Happy It certainly was the best convection day we've had up this way so far this year.

We just had a hail shower only moments ago, so there must still be a bit of an updraft happening in the area. It's cleared away now with no sign of thunder/lightening, but still nice to see!

I did mention in the mini-forecast that i wasnt quite sure if the temps for Saturday were correct on GFS and having just had a look at todays 06z Run it does appear that temps will be taking quite a dip over the weekend.

Saturday shows highs of 13/15C in the far S/SE but elsewhere in the UK 7/10C looks to be on the cards. Into Sunday the S/SE again leads the way with all of 11C with elsewhere in the 6/10C region.

Way below the Seasonal average for this time of year which should be in the region of 15 to 16C.

Quick graphic showing Max Temps for 15.00 on Sunday....Courtesy Netweather.tv.

Yep things are remaining cool as you say Upps.

Showers refined to western areas through today, drier in the east. Need some heat for storms!!!
